Sinus Lift

Do you have a lack of bone mass for implants implantation?

By lifting the bottom of the maxillary sinus membrane, we are able to create additional space that is complementary to artificial bone (bone augmentation) and thus achieve and obtain in patients an additional 4-6 millimeters required for implant placement.

This is a painless, fifteen-minute process and allows our patients successful implant-prosthetic rehabilitation in the lateral zone, which is most important for chewing.

After raising the sinus, depending on the initial availability of bone height, the implant may be implanted immediately, or it may be necessary to wait 6-8 months after the procedure for the artificial bone to harden and only to retrofit the implant.

Sinus Lift

In the lateral areas of the upper jaw, it is quite often the case that there is a shortage of bone mass and space to insert an implant. Additional space is achieved by lifting the bottom of the maxillary sinus membrane, which is supplemented by an artificial bone (bone augmentation) and accordingly achieves an additional 4 – 6 millimetres necessary for the insertion of implants. A painless procedure that lasts for fifteen minutes enables the successful implant-prosthetic rehabilitation in the lateral area, which is the most important for chewing, for the patients. After the sinus lift, depending on the starting availability of the bone height, the implant can be inserted immediately or it will be necessary to wait from 6 to 8 months after the procedure for the artificial bone to ossify and only subsequently, insert the implant. The treatment takes longer, but the end result is excellent in all aspects.
