Nobel Biocare® Original All on 4 Implants

All on 4 is a protocol that allows the patient to have provisional fixed teeth within 24 hours.

For patients who have lost all their teeth over the years due to periodontal disease, trauma, or poor oral hygiene, and who do not want or simply cannot wear a mobile denture, the ALL-ON-4 method has pushed the boundaries and provided the patient with perfect functionality, excellent statics and above all aesthetics.

Fixed teeth for edentulous patients within 24 hours are only possible with this method.

ALL-ON-4

The loss of all teeth, caused by ageing, periodontitis, trauma and other similar causes represents an important problem that greatly affects the quality of life, self-confidence and the general impression produced by a person. Patients who suffer from the loss of bones in the back jaw areas and cannot achieve adequate volume by a large sinus lift to insert six implants along the entire jaw, had the sole possibility of getting a semi-fixed solution by inserting 4 vertical implants in the frontal area for many years – until the ALL-ON-4 method appeared. The ALL-ON-4 method is truly a revolutionary accomplishment by the Malo’ clinic and Nobel Biocare implants. For patients who have lost all of their teeth over the years as a result of periodontitis, trauma or bad oral hygiene and who don’t want the mobile denture or simply cannot wear one, the ALL-ON-4 method has pushed the boundaries and enabled perfect functionality, excellent statics and above all, aesthetics, to the patient. In case, based on a clinical examination and a CBCT 3D image, it is ascertained that the bone in the front and all the way to the position of premolars is of excellent density, the dentist will surely recommend the ALL-ON-4 method to the patient as the best possible implant-prosthetic rehabilitation solution, if the patient doesn’t feel well having a mobile denture, cannot wear it or has the urge to vomit as a result of the denture’s long palate.

What is implied by the ALL-ON-4® concept of treatment?

The ALL-ON-4® concept of treatment is an efficient solution without an additional bone implant that
enables the patient to have a fixed denture on the entire jaw, on the very same day that the surgery
is done if there is primary stability.

Features:

  • the rehabilitation of the entire jaw thanks to the insertion of four implants, two of them
drilled vertically into the frontal area of the jaw and two of them drilled diagonally at an
angle of 45° into the back area of the jaw.
  • immediate functionality (temporary fixed denture) for patients who meet the criteria of
    immediate load
  • the procedure does not include a sinus lift and owing to the diagonal rear implants it is
possible to avoid a bone implant because the existing bone is used.
  • minimally invasive, the procedure takes an hour to an hour and a half
  • postoperative recovery is quick and painless

Here at Dental centre Ostojić, we exclusively use the original Nobel Biocare implants with a lifelong
guarantee for the ALL-ON-4 procedure and we follow the verified Malo’ protocol.

Who is the candidate for ALL-ON-4?

  • People who want fixed prosthetic work that have lost all or most of their teeth
  • Patients with complete prosthesis for many years
  • Patients who have experienced severe bone loss over time, especially in the back of the jaw
  • Patients who do not have enough bone for all on 6 , ie the 6 implant implant are perfect candidates for All-on-4
  • Patients who have very bad teeth and are scheduled to be extracted.

Maintaining oral hygiene

Considering that this is a single-piece composite fixed denture, it is important to maintain your oral hygiene well. Besides a classic toothbrush and toothpaste, it is important to use the water flosser, interdental brushes and to use a mouthwash once daily to rinse the oral cavity. At the yearly check- up, the protocol is as follows: to make a control panoramic radiograph and check if everything is alright with the inserted implants and, if necessary, depending on how well the oral hygiene is maintained, mechanically take the fixed composite denture off and clean it professionally. Of course, this doesn’t hurt the patient one bit!
