Education and familiarising children with healthy habits; how to properly brush teeth, which type of
diet is necessary so that teeth would decay less in childhood are all a part of successful prevention.
Because of their hectic lifestyle, most parents increasingly frequent neglect to educate their children on how to properly brush their teeth and most of them leave the maintenance of the oral hygiene to their children from a very early age. That is how children with quite inflamed gums and carious deciduous and permanent teeth at their earliest age come to our office because they just haven’t been educated well enough on how to brush their teeth. Therefore, the most important thing is to visit your dentist who will show your child how to properly choose a brush, how to properly brush his teeth and gum, how much time should be set aside for oral hygiene and how many times a day the process must be repeated. The dentist will also draw attention to the importance of reducing sweet and carbonated beverages and sweets in general. The entire education is completed with a well- known story of Bitty and Bitey that remains etched in the memory of every child in hopes that their oral health care will be daily and constant.
