September is the month of the beginning of the new school year, and the desire for additional education and learning. Dr. Renata traveled to the beautiful Spanish town of Castello de la Palma and attended the Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute with renowned implantologist and prosthetist Dr. Fernando Rojas Vizcay. What are the innovations in prosthetic components and techniques of answers received at this training center, which for many years selflessly shares its knowledge and improves the profession with all domains. This year’s education was all about the new Astra Tech implant series – the EV series that will soon be available at our newly opened dental center. The guiding principle of this well-known company was very banal, but extremely important for all dentists and oral surgeons around the world – to simplify the whole process of implant-prosthetic protocol; improve the properties of the screw and its upgrades, thereby simplifying and further shortening the implant implantation process, without compromising bone and soft tissue, and improving the upgrade elements. Screws come in multiple shapes this time, offering the answer for all cases and jaw physiognomies. The Astra Tech EV series could indeed be groundbreaking, so we look forward to bringing this product to our clinic and thus providing our patients with world-class service
